ARCO TIETE URBAN INTERVENTION PROJECT
The Urban Intervention Project of Arco Tiete was structured in 3 Urban Intervention Areas (AIU) and was conceived in an integrated infrastructure plan that connects Tiete riverbank with a new public space’s grid and enhance density along this area. The project funding will happen by transforming public land in new neighborhoods and selling FAR bonds to densifying TOD axes. A public council formed by different decision-makers will manage project implementation.
Our contribution:Accomplished different development scenario and enhanced Floor Area Ratio incentives (more than US$ 2.0 billion) to implement strategic metropolitan area project called Arco Tietê promoting TOD infrastructure and land policy.
