Streetscape Design

Designed the new streetscape to improve accessibility and safety for Sao Paulo’s most famous avenue with Universal Design concept and non-motorized infrastructure. The result helped citizens to use the city in a better way, offering sustainable mobility alternatives and simple technical interventions.

Our contribution:Designed the Paulista Avenue new streetscape with universal design concept and non-motorized infrastructure fostering new uses in public right-of-way, on 1st phase.Contributed in streetscape design issues, mainly the pedestrian cross walks and bike protection barriers, on 2nd phase.

First phase (2007/2008) designing sidewalks and implement new crosswalks and safety traffic operation
